At approximately 5:15 p.m. on August 4, police were dispatched to the report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, it was determined the three male suspects entered the parking lot of a business, during which Suspect One and Suspect Two entered two parked, unoccupied running vehicles. An employee observed and attempted to close the gate to the parking lot when Suspect Three approached, pushed the gate back open, brandished a firearm and made threatening statements towards the employee before entering one of the vehicles. No injuries were reported. The suspects then fled the scene in the two vehicles described as a Black 2024 Volkswagen Atlas with Florida license plate 91DQHZ and a Silver 2024 Hyundai Tucson with Florida license plate 57DQBW. The suspects are described as Black males, approximately 18-25 years old, wearing all-black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
