At approximately 11:37 a.m. on August 5, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the bank, passed a note to the teller demanding money and implied he had a weapon. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was seen or displayed, and no injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 50-60 years old, 6’0”-6’1” with gray hair wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored pants, a black backpack and glasses. The investigation is ongoing.
