At approximately 3:33 p.m. on September 1, police were dispatched to the report of shots heard. Upon arrival, officers determined no shooting occurred and the incident was a robbery. The investigation indicated three suspects in their teens approached a business during which Suspect One deployed a fire extinguisher inside the store and Suspects Two and Three smashed a glass display case with hammers. The suspects then stole jewelry from the business before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The three suspects are described as thin-build Black males, approximately 5’7”, 16-18 years old wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
