At approximately 11:40 p.m. on February 23, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the two male suspects entered the business and Suspect One went behind the counter, brandished a machete and demanded merchandise. The employee then exited the store during which Suspect Two went into a back area of the business and stole cigarettes before both suspects exited the store and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Suspect One is described as a thin-built Black male, approximately 5’5”-5’9”, wearing a black jacket, white hoodie, black mask, light-colored jeans and black shoes. Suspect Two is described as a medium-build Black male, approximately 5’5”-5’9” wearing a black hoodie, black mask, light-colored jeans and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
