At approximately 10:22 a.m. on November 19, the victim self-reported to the police station for the late report of an assault. It was determined at approximately 9:00 a.m., the male victim was sitting outside in the 2100 block of Clarendon Boulevard when the male suspect approached and engaged him in conversation. The victim then left the area on foot during which the suspect followed him to the 2700 block of Clarendon Boulevard where he subsequently struck the victim with a rock before fleeing the scene. The victim then traveled to the police station for assistance where medics responded and evaluated him for minor injuries. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’11”, 175 pounds, wearing a striped shirt, dark jeans, a hat and eyeglasses. The investigation is ongoing.
