At approximately 3:55 p.m. on December 5, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and engaged an employee in conversation that escalated to a verbal dispute during which the suspect became disorderly. The suspect then assaulted the employee, made threatening statements, collected merchandise and exited the business without payment. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 30’s, 5’9”-5’11”, wearing a light gray jacket, black pants, black hat, dark-colored scarf and black and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
