At approximately 5:58 p.m. on December 18, police were dispatched to the report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim, who was operating as a delivery driver, was returning to his idling vehicle when the male suspect entered the vehicle and drove away. At the intersection of S. Eads Street and 14th Street S., the victim approached the stolen vehicle on foot and verbally confronted the suspect who then brandished what appeared to be a firearm before fleeing the scene southbound on S. Eads Street in the stolen vehicle. No injuries were reported. There is no suspect description. The stolen vehicle is described as a green 2010 Hyundai Accent with Virginia license plate AFA9802. The investigation is ongoing.
