At approximately 5:04 p.m. on March 11, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and went behind the counter during which an employee confronted him. The suspect made threatening statements towards the employee and stole cigarettes. When the employee attempted to intervene, the suspect shoved him and stole additional items before another employee approached the suspect and began yelling. The suspect then exited the store, entered a red sedan and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast for the suspect vehicle, which was not located. The suspect is described as a Black male. The investigation is ongoing.
