At approximately 6:59 p.m. on June 10, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and an employee engaged the suspect in conversation when the suspect became irate and began to physically assault the employee, causing him to fall on the ground. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The employee sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated by medics at the scene. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male with facial hair, approximately 5’11” to 6’1”, wearing black joggers, white socks and black sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.
