At approximately 12:59 p.m. on June 19, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect knocked on the female victim’s door. When the victim opened the door, the suspect grabbed the victim, forcing her out of the residence, before making entry to the home. The victim sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Responding officers located the suspect on scene and took her into custody. Leslie Sanchez-Guzman, 23, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding, Unlawful Entry and Public Intoxication. She was held without bond.
