At approximately 7:15 p.m. on August 9, police were dispatched to the report of a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, allegedly concealed merchandise in a cart and proceeded to exit the store without payment. When confronted by Loss Prevention personnel, a struggle ensued, however, the Loss Prevention employee was able to keep the suspect in custody at the scene until police arrived. No injuries were reported. During a search incident to arrest, suspected narcotics were recovered. Quientell Donaldson, 42, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Robbery and Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance.
