At approximately 12:40 p.m. on March 26, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the store and approached an employee regarding purchasing secured merchandise. The employee displayed the merchandise during which the suspect stole it and attempted to leave the store. The employee then attempted to confront the suspect who pushed them before exiting without payment. The employee suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’8”- 6’0” with short dreadlocks wearing a light-colored hoodie, jeans and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
