An ordinary day at a retail store turned threatening when a man attempted to steal merchandise and then spat on a store employee. Police were called to the scene shortly before 5 p.m. on October 14 following a report of a robbery by force.
The suspect reportedly concealed items in a bag and attempted to exit without paying. When confronted by loss prevention staff, he made threatening remarks and spat on the employee before fleeing on foot. Despite a rapid response and area search by officers, the suspect was not located.
He is described as a light-skinned Black male, approximately 40 years old, with a mustache and beard, wearing a beanie hat, blue puffer coat, black sweatpants, and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
