An early morning robbery at a business on Fairfax Drive ended with one suspect in custody after he allegedly threw hot coffee on an employee.
Police say the suspect entered the store, picked up merchandise, and headed for the exit without paying. When confronted, he reportedly threw hot coffee on a staff member and fled. Officers quickly located a suspect matching the description at N. Kirkwood Road and Washington Boulevard.
John Olmo, 54, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Robbery. No injuries were reported. He is currently being held without bond.
