Location: 5500 block of Columbia Pike, Arlington VA

An Arlington man was taken into custody after allegedly breaking into an acquaintance’s apartment and assaulting him on Columbia Pike.
Police arrived in response to a disorderly conduct call and found that the suspect had forced entry into the victim’s home and physically assaulted him. The victim, who knows the suspect, did not suffer injuries. Officers were able to locate and detain the suspect at the scene.
Kevin Broderick, 29, of Arlington, VA, was arrested and charged with Burglary and Assault and Battery.
