A string of overnight burglaries is under investigation in Arlington following multiple break-ins at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Clarendon Boulevard.
Police responded to the scene at approximately 10:57 a.m. on November 6 after a call for a citizen assist led to the discovery of a burglary. According to investigators, a male suspect unlawfully entered an occupied apartment during the night and stole electronic items before fleeing.
Further investigation revealed two additional burglaries had occurred in other occupied residences within the same building. The suspect reportedly stole electronics, an undisclosed amount of cash, and a wallet containing credit cards and ID cards.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’11” to 6’2” tall, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. At the time of the incidents, he was wearing a jean jacket, camouflage pants, black and white shoes, a white hat, and carrying a white backpack.
The Arlington County Police Department continues to investigate and encourages anyone with information to contact authorities.
