Location: 1000 block of S. Frederick Street, Arlington VA

An attempted robbery early Friday morning resulted in a man being assaulted on S. Frederick Street.
Police were dispatched to the area after receiving a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male victim had been approached by a man who demanded his bicycle. When the victim refused, the suspect struck him before fleeing. Despite the initial report, the victim was not stabbed and did not sustain any injuries.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 26-27 years old, with black hair, approximately 5’6″ tall, wearing brown pants. The investigation is ongoing.
