A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on North Taylor Street in the heart of Ballston Tuesday afternoon.
The Arlington County Police Department says the crash happened just before 2 p.m. in the 900 block of N. Taylor Street. Investigators believe the driver, an adult man, was headed south when he veered off the road, hit several parked cars, and slammed into a pole.
He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and later died. A passenger in the car was not hurt.
Police think the driver may have had a medical emergency behind the wheel. His name has not been released yet, as officials work to notify his family.
