A late-night altercation in Arlington turned violent on December 16, resulting in three men being assaulted and one man arrested on multiple charges.
Police responded around 11:51 p.m. to reports of a fight near the intersection of 23rd Street South and South Eads Street. According to the investigation, a verbal dispute between a male suspect and three other men escalated into a physical attack. The suspect allegedly struck all three victims multiple times.
Two of the victims sustained minor injuries, while the third suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Officers arrived on the scene and were able to detain the suspect, who was identified as Delonte Peters, 33, of Washington, D.C. During the arrest, Peters also urinated in public.

Peters is currently being held without bond as the investigation continues.
