Police were dispatched to a reported robbery at a bank located at 1000 N. Stafford Street during the afternoon hours of February 9.
According to authorities, the incident began at approximately 3:20 p.m. when a suspect entered the bank and approached a teller. The individual allegedly passed a note demanding money and implied that he was armed. Before obtaining any cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Officers quickly responded to the area and conducted a search for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, black pants, gloves, and carrying a backpack.
The investigation remains ongoing.
