Police responded to the 2100 block of Shirlington Road at approximately 11:43 p.m. on February 23 following a report of an attempted burglary.
According to authorities, a male and female resident were inside their home when the female victim heard a noise. Upon checking, she observed suspect(s) attempting to force entry by turning the doorknob and pushing against the door.
When the suspects were unable to gain access to the residence, they fled the scene. No suspect descriptions are available at this time.
