Police were dispatched to the 4100 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive at approximately 7:56 p.m. on February 24 for a reported armed robbery that later appeared to involve multiple businesses.
Investigators say a male suspect entered a business, displayed a firearm and demanded that an employee open the cash register. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect reportedly turned his attention to a customer and demanded money while continuing to display the firearm. When the customer stated they did not have cash, the suspect fled on foot.
Shortly afterward, the suspect entered a neighboring business, again displayed a firearm and demanded access to the cash register. He obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the area.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incidents. Officers broadcast a lookout and canvassed the surrounding area, but the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as a White Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, around 24 years old, wearing all black clothing and a face covering.
The investigation into these incidents remains ongoing.
