Police are investigating a late-night robbery reported in the 1000 block of S. Frederick Street.
According to investigators, the incident occurred at about 9:15 p.m. inside a stairwell of a residential building. A man was in the stairwell when a suspect allegedly shoved him from behind, demanded cash and reached into his pocket.
The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the building and fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 35 to 40 years old, with short hair and wearing all black clothing. The investigation remains active.
