A robbery involving a confrontation between a vehicle owner and a suspect unfolded Monday morning on North Queen Street. Police say the victim discovered items inside his vehicle had been disturbed and encountered a suspect inside another of his vehicles.
When confronted, the suspect grabbed a power tool belonging to the victim, leading to a struggle. The victim managed to regain control of the tool, at which point the suspect attempted to flee. Before escaping, the suspect displayed pepper spray to deter pursuit.
No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’3” tall, wearing dark clothing and a black jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
