Police are investigating a robbery that left a bicyclist injured Friday night near 22nd Street South. The victim reported he was riding in the area when two suspects approached him and assaulted him.
During the incident, the suspects stole the victim’s wallet before fleeing in a black Honda. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and later contacted police.
Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital for evaluation. The suspects are described as two Black males. The investigation remains ongoing.
