A man is behind bars after a violent assault inside a residence left a victim seriously injured. Police say the suspect and victim, who knew each other, were inside the home when the suspect attacked and robbed the victim before fleeing.
The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries before officers arrived. In a surprising turn, the suspect returned to the scene while police were investigating and was immediately taken into custody.
Altankhuyag Altangerel, 35, faces charges including malicious wounding and robbery. He is being held without bond.
