A routine patrol led to a major arrest early April 23. Officers discovered a vehicle parked on a sidewalk with an altered VIN that had been reported stolen. When the suspect returned, police took him into custody.
During the investigation, officers recovered a firearm and suspected narcotics. Atmal Hamidi, 26, faces multiple charges including weapons violations, drug possession, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He is being held without bond.
