A tow truck driver was reportedly robbed following a confrontation with a teenager early Tuesday morning near Courthouse Road in Arlington.
Police say the victim, who was working as a tow truck driver at the time, became involved in a verbal dispute with a juvenile male suspect believed to be in his late teens. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, during which the suspect allegedly stole the victim’s cellphone before fleeing on foot.
Both the victim and suspect suffered minor injuries. Officers searched the surrounding area and located a person matching the suspect’s description in the 1200 block of S. Courthouse Road, where the juvenile was taken into custody.
The victim’s cellphone was recovered, and police sought robbery petitions against the suspect.
