Arlington police are investigating a late-reported malicious wounding by mob incident connected to an early morning assault on Columbia Pike.
Authorities say the victim and two suspects became involved in a verbal dispute around 4:30 a.m. before the suspects allegedly assaulted the victim and fled.
The victim suffered minor injuries and later sought treatment at a hospital.
One suspect is described as a Black male wearing a baseball hat and purple sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a Black male with facial hair wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.
The investigation remains ongoing.
