Suspect Implies Weapon During Wilson Boulevard Robbery

Arlington police are searching for a robbery suspect accused of threatening store employees after allegedly stealing merchandise late Monday night.

Investigators say the suspect entered a business, concealed merchandise in a bag, and left the store without paying. After an employee locked the door behind him, the suspect allegedly made threatening statements and implied he had a weapon before fleeing on foot.

Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Black male approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black backpack.

The investigation is ongoing.
