Police are investigating a late-reported unlawful entry incident that occurred May 6 inside a residence on North Lincoln Street.
According to authorities, a woman inside the home heard a noise during the early morning hours and discovered an unknown man inside the residence. After confronting the suspect, he fled the scene before police were contacted.
The suspect is described as a thin-built Black male, approximately 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds, wearing all gray clothing.
The investigation is ongoing.
