Police are investigating a series of overnight vehicle break-ins in the Potomac Avenue area that left at least 16 vehicles damaged.
Investigators say the incidents occurred sometime between 11 p.m. on May 18 and 6 a.m. on May 19. Suspects reportedly smashed driver or passenger side windows to gain entry into the vehicles before stealing electronics and other personal belongings.
Authorities also reported that tires were stolen from three of the targeted vehicles.
The affected vehicles varied in make and model, and no suspect descriptions have been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
