Arlington County police are investigating a report of possible gunfire in the early morning hours of June 1.
Officers responded after receiving reports of shots heard in the area. A perimeter was established while officers canvassed nearby streets and properties for potential victims, witnesses, or signs of damage.
A police helicopter assisted in the search, but investigators found no victims, damaged property, or evidence confirming that shots had been fired.
The investigation remains ongoing.
