An early morning dispute outside a business led to the arrest of an Arlington man on multiple charges.
Police said a male and female victim were arriving at a business when a suspect allegedly threw food items at the female victim. After all parties briefly left the area and later returned, the suspect allegedly demanded the male victim’s cellphone.
A verbal dispute followed, and the victims entered the business. The suspect then allegedly damaged the victims’ vehicle before fleeing.
Officers later located the suspect vehicle near Fairfax Drive and North Pierce Street and conducted a traffic stop.
Miguel Lopez Lemuz, 18, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery, Assault and Battery, and Destruction of Property. He was held without bond.
