A firearm discharged inside an Arlington residence on June 2, causing damage to multiple units but no injuries.
According to police, the resident was allegedly cleaning a firearm when it discharged. The round damaged the interior of the home and also struck an occupied neighboring residence.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
Officers recovered the firearm and arrested the suspect at the scene.
Jason Bailey, 46, of Arlington, was charged with Reckless Handling of a Firearm and Shooting a Missile Into an Occupied Dwelling.
