Arlington County Police are investigating an unlawful entry into a vacant apartment reported on June 3.
Officers responded to a burglary call at approximately 2:37 p.m. Investigators learned that between 12:50 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., a witness observed a woman inside a vacant apartment unit without authorization.
The suspect fled before police arrived. Officers searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate her.
The suspect is described as a Black female between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants.
The investigation remains ongoing.
