Arlington County police are investigating an attempted burglary after a man reportedly tried to enter an unoccupied residence on North Pollard Street.
Officers responded to the home Sunday evening and determined the suspect attempted to gain entry before fleeing the area.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 35 and 45 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, light blue shorts, a red baseball cap and gray sneakers.
No entry was made into the residence, and no injuries were reported. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
