A robbery suspect was arrested after allegedly assaulting a victim and stealing cash near Pentagon City.
Police said the victim was approached on Army Navy Drive by a man requesting money. When the victim declined, cash reportedly fell from the victim’s bag. The suspect allegedly grabbed the money, struck the victim and fled.
The victim followed the suspect into the Pentagon City Metro station, where officers arrived and made an arrest.
Mitchell Harris, 40, of Alexandria, was charged with robbery.
