ARLINGTON, Va. — Arlington County police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred late Tuesday morning on Lorcom Lane.
Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Lorcom Lane at about 11:02 a.m. on June 30 for a report of a crash with injuries.
According to the preliminary investigation, the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, Mauricia Flores De Andrade, 61, of Burke, was traveling eastbound on Lorcom Lane when her vehicle left the roadway and struck an unoccupied parked vehicle in a residential driveway.
Flores De Andrade suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the driver experienced an apparent medical emergency before the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
