Arlington police are investigating an assault involving five suspects in the 900 block of South Dinwiddie Street.
Officers responded shortly after 11 p.m. on July 17 after receiving reports of an assault. Investigators say the victim was walking in the area when he began speaking with a man he knew. The conversation escalated, and the suspect, along with four additional men, allegedly assaulted the victim.
The victim was able to run away while the suspects fled the area. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries but declined medical treatment.
Police describe the primary suspect as a Hispanic male wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts. The other four suspects are also described as Hispanic males.
The investigation remains ongoing.
