Arlington County police are investigating a reported attempted indecent exposure involving an employee at a building on S. Hayes Street.
Police received the late report at approximately 1:32 p.m. on August 14. Investigators determined the incident occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. on August 11.
According to police, a female employee was in an employee-only area when a male suspect approached her and began to unbutton his pants. The employee left the area, and the suspect fled on foot.
Police described the suspect as a thin-build, bald Black male with facial hair, approximately 30 to 35 years old and between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was reportedly wearing all-black clothing and carrying a gray backpack.
The investigation remains ongoing.
