Arlington police are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted and robbed of cash in the 2100 block of Clarendon Boulevard.
Officers were flagged down near 14th Street N. and N. Uhle Street for a report of a robbery.
Police determined the victim had been outside on Clarendon Boulevard when another man approached him, allegedly struck him and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.
No injuries were reported. Officers searched the surrounding area but did not locate the suspect.
Police described the suspect as a Black male wearing all dark clothing. The investigation remains ongoing.
