ARLINGTON, VA — A 25-year-old man was arrested after an assault left another man with serious injuries near Columbia Pike and S. Dinwiddie Street.
A patrol officer was flagged down regarding the assault. Police determined the victim had been sitting in the area when a man known to him approached and allegedly assaulted him.
The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Police identified and detained the suspect during the investigation. Antoni Reyes-Ramirez, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding. Police said he was held without bond.
