Arlington County Police arrested a 48-year-old Arlington man following a report of a suspicious person at a vacant apartment on South Eads Street.
Officers responded to the location at approximately 10:44 a.m. on October 12. According to police, a male suspect allegedly entered an unoccupied apartment without permission and caused damage to the property.
A responding officer located the suspect inside the residence and took him into custody without further incident.
Larry Mayorga, 48, of Arlington, Virginia, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry and Destruction of Property.
Police did not provide additional information about the extent of the property damage.
