Arlington County police are investigating an incident involving a man who allegedly yelled and kicked an apartment door while an acquaintance was inside the residence on October 23.
Officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of 31st Street South at approximately 12:52 p.m. following a delayed report of property destruction.
According to investigators, the incident occurred around 11 a.m. when a male suspect, described as an acquaintance of the resident, arrived at the apartment.
Police reported that the suspect began yelling and kicking the apartment door before leaving the area.
The resident was inside the home during the incident. Authorities confirmed that the suspect did not gain entry into the apartment.
The incident was included in the police department’s burglary reports, although no entry into the residence was reported.
Police have not announced an arrest, and the investigation into the circumstances of the incident remains ongoing.
