Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Richmond Highway on the evening of December 22 following a report of a suspicious person. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the incident had occurred a day earlier, on December 21.
According to authorities, a male suspect unlawfully entered a secured area of a local business, where he stole an access key before fleeing the scene. The break-in and theft were discovered during the police response.
Investigators were able to identify the suspect during the course of their inquiry, and warrants have since been issued for Burglary, Destruction of Property, and Petit Larceny. The case remains under active investigation.
