The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney, in partnership with the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, Arlington Sheriff’s Office, and several community organizations, is pleased to announce the first Expungement Clinic of 2024. This important event is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, at Arlington Presbyterian Church, located at 918 S. Lincoln Street, Arlington VA, 22204. The clinic will operate from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
One of the key features of the clinic is the waiver of the $91 filing fees for opening expungement cases. These fees will be covered on a first-come, first-serve basis while funds are available. Participants will also have access to volunteer defense attorneys who will be present to offer their services.
In addition to the support at the clinic, the Arlington Sheriff’s Office will keep the Arlington Courthouse open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will also waive the $15 fingerprinting fee for attendees.
It is important to note that the expungement services offered at this clinic are only available for charges that occurred in Arlington County or the City of Falls Church.
