A woman was robbed at knifepoint in broad daylight on September 9 while walking near the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and N. Randolph Street. The male suspect, who is known to the victim, allegedly approached her, shouted verbal threats, and forcibly took her backpack.
According to police, the suspect displayed a knife before stealing the victim’s cellphone, cash, and bank cards. The suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
Following an investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect and have obtained a warrant for Armed Robbery.
