Location: 2400 block of S. Lowell Street, Arlington VA
Time: October 30, 2025, at approximately 2:38 p.m.
A disturbing daylight robbery occurred on the 2400 block of S. Lowell Street when a female victim was assaulted inside her own vehicle by a suspect known to her. According to the Arlington County Police Department, the male suspect opened the vehicle door, assaulted the victim, and stole her phone before fleeing on foot.
Responding officers canvassed the area immediately after the incident but were initially unable to locate the suspect. A lookout was issued, and later that evening around 6:00 p.m., officers located and arrested Jamaree Dunbar, 21, of Arlington, VA, in the 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. He was taken into custody without incident.
Dunbar has been charged with Robbery and Wearing a Mask in Public, and remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
