At approximately 7:27 p.m. on December 30, police were dispatched to the report of a fight. Upon arrival, it was determined that two juvenile male victims were inside a commercial property when they became involved in a verbal dispute with a group of six juvenile male suspects. The two victims left the area and were approached a short time later by the group of suspects. One suspect made threatening statements towards the victims and implied a weapon. As the victims attempted to walk away, they were assaulted by the suspects during which one victim’s hoodie was stolen. The suspects then fled the scene on foot. One victim was transported to an area hospital for injuries considered non-life threatening and the other did not require medical treatment. A lookout was broadcast, and officers located the suspects in the area and detained them. Petitions were sought for the six juvenile male suspects for Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and Assault by Mob. The investigation is ongoing.
